It’s filed, and official: Today is a special day for us in our journey as a business. Over the last 4 1/2 years, many have known our business as GiantJet Web Design Studios.
This business name was originally created to communicate “performance” and “improvement”, and while it has served us well for a few years, our team has long felt that the name was always a bit too playful, not quite capturing the professionalism and maturity that help differentiate us from others.
After much discussion and research, we have decided to move forward under a new business name. One that plays it straight and avoids complexity. No more puzzling metaphors or tech startup feel. We have now officially decided to move ahead as “Barton Interactive”.
It is not necessarily uniqueness, but function and maturity that we are after. While a fun, catchy name is fine, we’ve felt it to be a distraction to who we are what we do. The new business name enforces the notion of a more formal agency. It is smarter, simpler, and more approachable, seeking professionalism, durability and functionality. It holds up in the volume of everyday communications. It is more corporate, and intentionally more basic.
If you are among those who fear change, don’t worry. While we are proceeding under a new business name, we certainly aren’t changing our process, staff, or any of our award-winning service offerings. So please stay tuned for further updates, and feel free to reach out to us with new inquiries at hello@bartoninteractive.com.
